RE: Sponsorship opportunity for Upton Days 2023

FRIDAY (9/15) – This year’s event kicks off on Friday at the Upton Baptist Church ballpark with our Family Fun Night! 

Events will include FREE activities for the kids (carnival-type rides, inflatables, etc.,) Bluegrass music, petting zoo, base running competition, dunking booth, horse rides, a DJ, a movie under the stars, & more!  These activities will continue Saturday.

SATURDAY (9/16) Kentucky’s own Ernie Brown, Jr., nicknamed “The Turtleman”, will be our special guest this year! Ernie hails from Lebanon, Kentucky and rose to fame by first appearing on Kentucky Afield, then went on to star in the Animal Planet show "Call of the Wildman".

He will start the day as Grand Marshall of our parade at 10:00 EST; followed by a Meet & Greet and Turtle Man merchandise at the Community Center.  

Along with our regular events for Saturday, (beauty pageants, baby contest, pedal pull, silent auction, etc.,) we are hoping to add a Car, Truck, & Tractor Show, and Fireworks, and more carnival rides!

If possible, we kindly ask that we hear from you by Monday, July 31, 2023. This will help us to finalize our schedule; order t-shirts and signs/banners, etc. Checks can be mailed to the PO Box above; dropped off at West Point Bank in Upton; or we can pick them up at your convenience.
